Origin
In Gaza 1393BCE, Amunet was a disgraced High Priest’s daughter and because she could read it made easy for her to help grave robbers sneak into a tomb but she and the other robbers were caught. The other robbers were burnt alive but Amunet pleaded to be spared. She swore to be the Pharoh’s slave in this life and the next. The Pharoh excepted and killed Amunet anyway.
These actions sent Amunet to Egyptian Hell, where Isaiah Jefferson and Erin Foley found her and offered her a job stealing from Heaven. Amunet excepted, broke out of her chains and helped the pair escape. Then in Heaven, Amunet became a part of the team that stole the Holy Grail and gave the team a second chance at life.
Creation
Amunet was created by Ben Kahn and Bruno Hidalgo for their Scout Comics series Heavenly Blues. Amunet appeared in issue #2 and her backstory was expanded in issue #4.
