Origin
Captain Falcon was the daring commanding officer of Moon-Base Patrol, and its Space Ranger spaceship, the Hawkins. Based out of Moon-Base, which was commanded by his friend, Commodore Fortesque-Fortesque, he led his crew, which included recent Space Academy graduates “Sparrow” Smith and “Crash” Kale, on missions to defend the solar system.
Creation
Captain Falcon was created by Frank Black for the News of the World comic Rocket, and was obviously inspired, at least in part, by Dan Dare.
