Origin

DX is Omega Team’s night spotting specialist – in other words, keeping an eye out for “things that go bump in the night.” His vision enhancement gear and keen observation skills ensure that “nobody hides from the DX man.” His conversational tone tends to be dry and academic with an emphasis on technical explanations – but when the chips are down, knowing DX is on a rooftop covering you in the dark is a very good feeling indeed.

DX is a biologist and chemist; speaks French, German, Russian, Mandarin, and Japanese; and wears a prosthetic face with vision enhancement equipment. This includes digital magnification, image intensifiers, infrared spectroscopic analysis and sound enhancement. His custom built “third eye” headset costs about as much as a fully stocked military Humvee.
