Elena Quartermain

History

Elena is the descendant of the Quartermain family, who are regarded as great guides, trackers & tomb raiders. Elena was hired by Tenzen, a Japanese business man, to guild Stryke to a temple in Japan and retrieve a mystic Katana once belonging to the Japanese swordswoman, Tama. The two women parachuted onto an island off the coast of Japan landing with grace (in Stryke’s case) and not so much (in Elena’s). The pair found themselves attacked by a monstrous alligator which Elena dispatched by breaking its neck. The two women made preparations to depart for the temple but not before Stryke made her intentions (and preferences) known to Elena.

The duo soon found the temple and after evading many traps soon found Tama’s burial chamber. Before they could remove the sword they were attacked by Ninja’s that Tenzen had hired to make sure that no one found out that he was responsible for the removal of the sword. Elena and Stryke fought and defeated many of the Ninja’s but the leader managed to retrieve the sword. Tama’s spirit appeared before the trio and immediately killed the ninja. She then presented her sword to Stryke before disappearing again. Stryke and Quartermain returned to Tenzen and presented him with the sword. When Tenzen tried to use the sword to kill the two women Tama’s spirit returned and killed him.

Afterwards the two were seen resting in Stryke’s hot tub discussing their financial status. Elena hadn’t asked for as much money up front as Stryke so she would be coming up short but Stryke offered to split the half a million dollars that she stole from Tenzen’s safe. Stryke then hinted to Elena that they had not seen the last of Tama.

Abilities

Elena is a world class guide, tracker and tomb raider. She is well versed in fighting techniques and is a good shot and very capable with a bull whip.
