Fed up with being abused and ignored, Emma conspires with one of Mister Drake’s employees, Kurt, to drug her husband and have him committed. The plan works and Emma is able to procure a divorce and take all her husband’s money. She marries Kurt and has Drake thrown in his own asylum, where he is likely killed by the wards that hate him so much.
