Estelle

Origins

Estelle first appears in Dead Duck in the storyline Soul Takers Apprentice. She works as the secretary to J.P. Yorick a.k.a. death a.k.a. the grim reaper.

Character Evolution

Estelle starts as a character who mainly deals with her sometimes annoying boss J.P. and has to handle his calls and paper work.

After Estelle meets Dead Duck she quickly takes on the role of his surrogate mother and seems to do so with fondness and compassion for the little blue duckling.

Estelle often has to pick up the pieces for where J.P. falls short as a father figure to Dead Duck, including his birthday party where he hopes his favorite character Big Man on Campus will arrive. Estelle takes it upon herself to play the role of Tequila, BMOC’s trusted partner, much to the delight of Dead Duck who like most children is oblivious to a parental figure dressed in a costume.

Estelle’s want to protect her surrogate son goes so far as to create the partner whom would become Dead Duck’s best friend, Zombie Chick. Estelle does this by securing zombie parts from a store, unfortunately she discovers all that is available are pieces of dead beauty pageant contests and chicken scraps, so in a way, Estelle is mother to both Dead Duck (as a surrogate) and Zombie Chick (as her manufacturer).

Abilities

Estelle is undead but has not shown any form of mystical powers or invulnerability.
