Famine (Lee)

Origin

According to Ozymandias, Jeb Lee was a Confederate spy marching behind enemy lines disguised as a Union drummer. After the war he made the mistake of returning home in his union garb. Believing him to be a traitor, the Confederate townsfolk burned his family alive in front of him. The mental duress unleashed his latent mutant powers. From then on Jeb marched from battle to battle, killing all in his wake. Impressed with his powers Apocalypse ordered Ozymandias to collect him as one of his Final Horsemen, a contingency plan for bringing on the Age of Apocalypse when all other plans have failed.

Creation

Jeb Lee was created by Rick Remender and Jerome Opena and first appeared in Uncanny X-Force Vol.1 issue 1 (2010).
