When spending time in Mr. Dorian Blud’s penthouse, Tanya was suddenly, without her consent splashed with demon blood. It was a ritual to summon a demon from hell, and it transformed her body to that of Shiva. Blud asked Shiva to kill his goon who had skimmed money from him.
The next morning, she was approached by her cop boyfriend Raymond. She had spied on Mr. Blud for him. But now that she was a demon, she killed him.
Later Shiva was attacked on the street by someone. She punched him hard and he disappeared. She decided to stay close to see who it was and when her assailant was attacked by a gang, she joined in on the fight. Trading some punches with Caliban, she realized his strength and decided to escape.
That night at the cemetery, she tested her theory that her own blood would be enough to summon demons from hell. She infuses a frog with her blood and the first of her legion arrives on Earth.
During one of their fights, Shiva and Caliban’s fight is interrupted by vampires. Shiva takes flight and lets Caliban handle the vampires. She observes as Luxura herself arrives and kills Caliban with her dragon form. Shiva proposes truce, but Luxura does not want to allow it. When the Kith attempt to drain Shiva, her blood tries to transform them, but doesn’t because they all lack souls. However one of them transforms into a demon and this is enough for Luxura to agree to the truce.
