Kristy Watson

Origin

Kristy Watson is a cousin of Mary-Jane Watson. She is younger than her cousin.

Creation

Kristy Watson was created by Gerry Conway and Sal Buscema and first appeared in The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol.1 issue 145 (1988).

Problems

Kristy is a sweet kid but suffered from bulimia, an eating disorder. This all came to pass when Kristy breafly lived with Peter Parker and Mary Jane, her aunt. During their time together, Krist developed a bid of a crush on Peter Parker. She wanted Peter to like her the same way she did with him and thought it had something to do with the fact that Mary Jane was very slimm. She started eating less and less and eventually suffered from a heart attack due to her undereating. She has since recovered and sought counseling for her problem. Kristy eventually got a crush on famous artist Peter Nicholas (Colossus of the X-Men while using an alias). She has not been seen in quite some time.

In the MC2 Universe, Kristy is seen as a few years older when she has been hired by Normie as his new personal assistant. Moving back to town, Kristy has taken up residence in the Parker House hold, which has put a new spin on the Parker Family. Kristy recently learned that Normie hired her to keep an eye on him in case the symbiote did get out of control knowing that Kristy would make the hard decision to get Spider-girl to stop him if the day ever came but luckily that never happened following the death of the symbiote during the fight with the Hobgoblin. Kristy recently moved out of the Parker home and into her own place at Osborn Plaza.
