Left-Winger vs John Walker as Captain America.

Hector Lennox served in the United States Army with John Walker. When Walker became the Super-Patriot, Lennox became one of his Bold Urban Commandos, or “Buckies.” When Steve Rogers, the original Captain America decided to give up his identity rather than blindly serving the government, Walker was given the mantle. This left Lennox out in the cold and pretty ticked off.

Lennox and another buddy became known as Left-Winger and Right-Winger. They decided to expose Walker to the media as the new Captain America in order to ruin his new “career.”

The outcome was not quite what they expected. Walker’s parents were kidnapped and killed in front of him. Blind with rage, Walker sought out vengeance against his former partners. After fighting Walker, Lennox was left seriously burnt from an explosion and ended up taking his own life.

Immortus would battle the West Coast Avengers and transport them to his personal Limbo where he summoned the Legion of the Unliving which included Left-Winger, Right-Winger, Grim Reaper, Swordsman, Arno Stark, Black Knight, Toro and Oort, the Living Comet as his personal soldiers. Right-Winger and Left-Winger went after their old friend, John Walker as the US Agent. Right-Winger and Left-Winger grabbed a sharp stalagmite and they charged the US Agent from each side. Walker threw his shield onto the ground, causing Left-Winger to slip and he ended up impaling Right-Winger through the chest. Left-Winger was killed when Right-Winger’s stalagmite smashed his skull when they collided together.
