Sgt. O’Malley is a “by-the-book” type cop with a very unusual weapon, powercuffs. Longarm uses them to catch criminals or as a grappling hook. Longarm is often seen talking to kids, keeping them out of trouble.
Longarm is a sixth generation police officer. Longarm is also a devoted family man, trying to be a good husband to Linda, and father to 10 year old Brian. Longam’s father, Mickey, doesn’t like the gadgets employed by C.O.P.S. He believes cops should catch crooks “the good old days.”
Longarm is so devoted to the law that he once arrested his own father. It was soon discovered though that Mickey was framed by Nightshade.
