First appeared in Eagle issue 70 (23 July 1983) in a story called The Hand, written by Gerry Finley-Day and illustrated by Vanyo.
Luke Hackett is involved in a car crash with mobster Luca Mancino. Luca doesn’t survive and Luke loses his left hand so surgeons give him Luca’s. Unfortunately for Luke, his new hand has a murderous life of its own….
The Hand ran for 30 episodes in Eagle issues 70-99. A one-off story (illustrated by Geoff Senior) appeared in the Eagle Annual 1985 and a simple boardgame featured in the Eagle Holiday Special 1984.
