Mark is the husband of Jill and father of Mercury.
When Mercury was transferred to Utopia, Mr. Kincaid tried to press the government to give him his daughter back, but the government has no jurisdiction over the X-Men’s island. He then tried to make a public appeal, but instead made himself a target for assassination by the mercenary Deadpool who thought he was helping by eliminating a threat to the X-Men. Deadpool was stopped and Mr. Kincaid is still alive.
