Young Mary Boone was a florist in Toronto, Canada. One day, she was attacked and raped by an obsessive fan, Nigel Weatherly. He was sentenced to imprisonment for this act. However, Mary became pregnant and, against her mother’s wishes, she kept the baby. She bore a son, whom she named Aaron. Her mother cast her out of her house, so Mary and her newborn son moved to a house of their own, just outside Toronto.
Once out of prison, Nigel discovered Mary’s whereabouts and went to visit her. He again attacked her and tried to kill her, angry at her for leaving him. Aaron suddenly came home and saw Nigel strangling his mother. He grabbed a kitchen knife and plunched it into Nigel’s head, thus killing him. But not before Mary had been suffocated.
