Oort the Living Comet

Immortus would battle the West Coast Avengers and transport them to his personal Limbo where he summoned the Legion of the Unliving which included Oort the Living Comet, Right-Winger, Left-Winger, Grim Reaper, Swordsman, Arno Stark, Black Knight and Toro as his personal soldiers. Oort battled Quicksilver but the speedster was taken down when he was struck in the back by a comet blast. During this appearance he made a claim that he was from the future and had met Quicksilver in the 50th Century.   
 
He is also mentioned by Songbird in the Destiny War. 

Creation

Oort the Living Comet was created by Roy Thomas and Paul Ryan in 1990 and first appeared in Avengers West Coast # 61.
