History
Father Sven Kalikos of Trewsk left his parishioners to travel to Earth when he was invited to a special conference there. While he was gone, tragedy struck and all of the scientists at the research station were killed.
Father Kalikos felt that it was his responsibility, and that he had committed a sin of pride that had led to their deaths, so he flew his spacecraft into the heart of one of Trewsk’s twin suns. Omen, finding his sacrifice interesting, caught him before his death and changed Kalikos, imbuing him with some of Omen’s own solar powers, including the ability to warp across the universe and the power to project plasma bursts.
Afraid of the Omen’s power, the self-named Prophet escaped and tried to get the worlds of the United Planets to join with him in battle with Omen. Prophet’s presence led to war everywhere he went, with the worst case being Khundia. There, the Legion of Super-Heroes attacked him, but the Khunds mistook their attack on prophet as a strike against Khundia.
When the Omen discovered that the Prophet was missing, he journeyed to Khundia to “chastise” him, and the Omen absorbed the Prophet into himself. Prophet has not been seen since then.
