Reach was created by Catwoman writer Judd Winick.

Major Story Arcs

Catwoman

Reach is a meta working for some corrupt cops in Gotham City. When Catwoman steals a bag of cash set as a payoff for the cops Reach is sent after her. During thier first encounter Catwoman incapacitates her just long enough to make her escape.

Later after Selena is arrested by the Gotham P.D. the police have nothing on Selena, so they send in Reach to interrogate her through torture. Since Selena is tied Reach manages to get in several hits, but makes the mistake of getting too close when she thinks Selena is going to reveal the location of drug money. Selena bites off Reach’s ear and scratches her face. Enraged Reach is prepared to kill Selena when Detective Alvarez shows up just in time to hit Reach on the back of the head, knocking her out, and letting Selena escape.

Powers and Abilities

Gravity Manipulation

Reach is a meta that has the ability to control gravity. It is seen during her fights with Catwoman when she uses her powers to throw Catwoman up to a high enough altitude that the result from the fall would kill. Her gravity attacks also supplement her strength allowing her to deliver devastating attacks on her enemies. It also grants her the ability to fly.
