Spat

Spat met Gambit when he was wandering, and they formed a friendship. Spat was hit by a Shi’ar chronometric liquid accidentally that started to de-age her. The liquid’s target was Gambit, but Spat pushed Remy out of the way to save him.

Later Spat was aimed to collect a bounty on Gambit’s head by giving him to Eric the Red as she seemed to gain an animosity towards him. Gambit willingly hands himself over to try and resolve the past.

Gambit then searched for a way to stop the de-aging process and restore Spat before it was too late. He gained the Tomorrow Stone and she was back to normal. 

Creation

Spat was created by Scott Lobdell and Joe Madureira in 1997 and first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men # 347.
