Spoor would remain a prisoner in Excalibur’s custody for some time on Muir Island. While there, Dr. Rory Campbell sought to cure Spoor of his sociopathic nature. Campbell subjected Spoor to various psychological therapy sessions within a room equipped with aggression-tracking lasers, with Campbell himself taking drugs to inhibit Spoor’s ability to influence him. Campbell’s underlying animosity of mutants got the better of him however, and Spoor was able to goad the doctor into attacking him, causing a laser to react and sever one of Campbell’s legs. Spoor would remain in custody afterwards for some time, both on Muir Island and later the main land. He eventually escaped however and fled to Genosha, currently ruled by Magneto. Spoor however later died during a Sentinel attack on the island.

Powers & Abilities

Spoor’s primary mutation was ability to produce mood-altering pheromones that allowed him to heighten the aggression of others around him. He could direct his victims’ aggression, but would often leave it uncontrolled, secretly hoping that his victims would turn on him as well. His physical mutations cause his entire body to be covered in hair and take on a more bestial nature, bringing with it some degree of animal-like enhanced abilities.
