The Dummy

The Dummy is a criminal mastermind and inventor whose diminutive size and somewhat grotesque features make him resemble a ventriloquist’s dummy. In fact, originally his hired thugs thought he was only a lifeless dummy through which their unseen employer spoke; of course, the Dummy himself was the true boss. The Dummy had several clashes with the hero known as the Vigilante.

The Dummy eventually killed the Chinese-American nicknamed “Stuff” who, as a boy, was the Vigilante’s sidekick. Vigilante and Stuff’s son brought the Dummy to justice.
