Although The Family Man never appeared in The Sandman, during The Doll’s House story arc (which was being published about the same time as The Family Man story arc in Hellblazer) he was mentioned as being the M.I.A. guest of honor for the Serial Killer Convention. Since he never showed up, The Corinthian took his place as the guest of honor. To correspond with this, in Hellblazer #28, Reed Hackett gave John Constantine the invitation while John took on the guise of the Family Man to do some “detective work”.
