Tiger Ted was one of the animals who lived in Bamboo Town in early issues of the Dandy, following the unofficial leadership of the chimps Bongo and Pongo. Quite how a tiger ended up in what appeared to be a town in Africa is unclear. Maybe he escaped from a zoo.
