Timmorn Yellow Eyes

Many centuries ago, when the Elves landed on Abode and were driven from the Palace; they were woefully unprepared for life in the wilds and their magical powers were extremely weakened being deprived of close proximity to the Palace. It is said that Timmain was the strongest and most powerful of the surviving Elves. She successfully relearned much of her magics and ultimately succeeding in shapeshifting into a wolf. In her wolf form, she used the superior strength, speed, and hunting skills to save her companion elves from starvation.

But it cost her too much and over time, Timmain lost her ability to shapeshift back to her elven body and was driven solely by her instincts and she became increasingly distant to her Elven brethren.

The result of her union with a male wolf resulted in the birth of the first Wolfrider, Timmorn. Guided the last vestiges of her elvish side, Timmain brought the infant Timmorn to the Elves to raise and disappeared shortly afterward. It was his mother’s people who taught him how to walk on two legs, to speak, and to “send” telepathically but he retained a strong link to the Wolf Pack.

It was Timmorn who forged the bond between the Elves and Wolf Pack, cementing it in a firm and enduring alliance between the two. He also sired many children with both elves and wolves; his descendants are the Wolfriders and their loyal mounts who are both larger, longer-lived, and telepathically sensitive to the Wolfriders themselves.

The Wolfriders would be the strongest and hardiest members of this small tribe. Natural survivors, the Wolfriders would become the dominant members of the small-knit group, steadily supplanting the weaker and more fragile Elves who slowly died out; thanks to the power of Timmorn. However, the “taint” of Timmorn’s bloodline also affected his descendants and the Wolfriders would also age and die as mortals unlike full-blooded elves.

Timmorn, or Timmorn Yellow Eyes are he was most often referred as; would arise as the First Chief of the Wolfriders themselves and lead them for many years. He guided the Wolfriders’ migration from the snowy wastes of the northern lands to the warmer forest lands in the south. In time however, Timmorn fell prey to his growing animalistic tendencies and chose to leave the fledgling Wolfriders in care of one of his daughters, Rahnee the She-Wolf and vanished in the wild like his mother before him.
