Origin
Twit was a member of the Silver Squad which were android bounty hunters formed by Silvermane to terminate Spider Man. Twit and his other teammates which included Ripster, Slambeaux and Purdy Larry interrupted Peter Parker’s and Mary Jane’s carriage ride in Central Park with some gunfire. Peter Parker fell behind some bushes while Mary Jane was greeted by the Silver Squad. They knew her husband was connected to Spider Man and they wanted his blood. Parker changed into Spider Man and confronted the Silver Squad. Twit was destroyed when he was accidentally shot by Purdy Larry as they surrounded the wall-crawler. Spider Man realized the entire group were androids and cut loose on all of them.Â
Creation
Twit was created by Terry Kavanagh and Alex Saviuk in 1991 and first appeared in Web of Spider-Man # 79.Â
