Major Forsythe provides Loop Logan with Ali as a guide in Libya. As Loop and Clatra search for an oasis with Ali’s provided directions, the plane runs out of gas. As they camp in the desert night, Ali attempts to knife the sleeping Logan. Clatra catches him. As Clatra fights off Ali, the latter falls into the firepit and is burned to death.
