Artsut blamed Jake Sully for her son Tsu’Tey‘s death. She plotted his death and poisoned the blade of her other son Arvok, and pressured him to duel Jake. Jake won the duel, but was still cut afterwards. Artsut however pushed all the blame to her son. Jake exiled their whole family. While traveling towards Mangkwan clan, Arvok left her and Ateyo.
