Created by Steve Moore and Massimo Belardinelli, Captain O’Grady appears in the 2000AD series – Dan Dare.
Captain O’Grady is accompanied by a strange creature called ‘Polyp’ – a single cell organism from Boran IV, semi-intelligent and fiercely loyal, the Captain has even taught it to speak.
Poor O’Grady is crushed by a falling statue, trying to escape the Mekon and the Two of Verath.
